The Tie Belt - Reinvent the Neck Tie! The Tie needs to be more than just a tie! Growing up in the Bronx and Manhattan I have always really liked neck ties. The colors, patterns and fabrics were all interesting to me. In high school in the late 70’s, GQ magazine was very popular, at the time the skinny tie were in, everyone was sporting skinny ties, but me. I thought the pencil ties had no detail to them. So one I wore one of my Dads skinny ties from the early 60’s, I could not believe all the complements, the simple neck tie but a big smile on my face. Everyone asked where did I get it from, I told them my Dad, this set off a mad race for the best old tie. My Tie-Belts are Made In NYC, from very nice Polyester and 50/50 Cotton Polyester, why polyester, because it is strong and it wears well as fashion belt.
